Black Prince Winery is hosting the 4th annual Scenes of Sandbanks and Beyond, original art show and sale, October 22nd to November 7th with an opening reception on October 21st from 7pm – 9pm.  This year’s show, located in the art cellar, will house over 50 local artists utilizing a wide variety of disciplines including;  fabric art, pottery, sculpture, photography, oil, watercolour, encaustic and acrylic paintings.

A Haunted House - October 30th
Join Haliburton Forest staff for a bone chilling night of tricks and treats. The haunted house opens at 7pm and will run until 9 pm. It features a haunted walk through a forest filled with ghosts and ghouls, ending at a spine chilling mad house. This event is suitable for all ages and admission is by donation.

Haunted Harbour At Discovery Harbour

“Haunted Harbour” will be a fun (and spooky!) evening at Discovery Harbour, where all manner of characters and creatures will take root at the historic site, sure to fright and delight even the most wary of traveller. Stroll the ghostly historic properties along candlelit paths, and peer into the historic buildings to see what awaits. Watch out for witches, a bag of bones, a giant spider, skeletons, a beating heart, eerie graveyard, “living” trees, and lots of wiggly critters – be careful where you step! Pirate fans will love the House o’ Loot where the bounty overflows, and little folks can try their hand at a special Hallowe’en craft. Admission’s just $5.00 per person plus a non-perishable food item (which will be donated to the local Food Bank). Children ages 5 and under are free.
