Compelling Algonquin Park Story--An evening with Roy MacGregor

A delightful evening with the author was sponsored by Globe and Mail Recognition Rewards specifically for subscribers on Monday October 18.  A true Canadian tale was illustrated with hints of the 'womanizing side' of Tom Thomson and his ultimate demise in the pristine waters of Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park. MacGregor added his personal experiences  having lived and grown up in the Algonquin Park-Huntsville-Whitney area.  The event included a private guided tour of the Tom Thomson section at the  AGO and a visual  presentation and discussion from Roy MacGregor at George Brown House. In addition to enjoying MacGregor's written stories he can spin a good tale. Taste treats and wine were delicious.
