Maple Syrup Festivals-a Spring Tradition north of Toronto

Recent news about Maple Syrup production from the Haliburton-Kawarthas Maple Syrup Producer indicates that start dates have moved earlier into the beginning of March.

Some areas of the province in more moderate climate regions amy even start earlier.
Maple syrup starts running when the temperature during the day is +5 C, and during the night
drops to -5 C.
