Toronto Area Beaches in Weekend "Absurdity" Spotlight

It is interesting to read stories about artificial beaches in downtown Toronto and the immediate GTA.   In the Saturday Globe they talk about Sugar Beach an area with no shore, and The Toronto Star talks about a Brampton artificial Lake with a shoreline and once home to a piranha.  I wonder if this is a continuation of a new trend to one-up the recent G20 artificial lake.....Absurdity can take many forms when politicians spend taxpayers money.  Ontario has more than 250,000 Lakes, rivers and beaches for "real swimming" in "real Ontario beach sand" in "real resort destinations".    Try to get North of Toronto for a "Pure Ontario Beach Experience.  The real beach photo here was taken in Algonquin Provincial Park.  See more Algonquin area beaches and links to Pure Ontario beaches wait North of Toronto.
