Canada’s Capital Region — The National Capital Commission (NCC) announces the official opening. Mama and Papa Ice Hog, Winterlude’s mascots, and Jean-François Trépanier, chief executive officer of the NCC, to be among the first this winter to skate on the world’s largest skating rink.
