February Events & Other Winter Happenings 'North' of Toronto

Winter is a breeze with activities and events that range from quiet fire side book reading to skiing down a mountain and being active.

Areas north of Toronto are full of snow, sunshine and starry nights perfect for day trips and getaways north of Toronto. So many Winter Carnivals, special shows and events are taking place, there's something for everyone. 

With a special February holidays like Family Day and Valentine's Day, it's time to celebrate and have some fun.

Winter Vacations & Fun Activites, Events and Getaways north of Toronto


January 2015! A whole new year for adventure and Ontario Travel!


All the types of recreation that make winter fun are best in areas 'north' of Toronto. Ski hills and trails, forests and endless winter wonderlands offer anyone a perfect-for-them day trip or overnight(s) getaway. Other activities like attractions and indoor sports or activity centres also offer a lot of fun for those who just don't like the cold. A winter wonderland is just as beautiful seeing it through a window while holding a mug of hot chocolate and listening to a crackling fire, and that's ok! Whatever you like to do, these are the best places to do it!
