with Christmas Tree lightings and celebrations of Festivals of Lights.

On November 25-27th Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons in Midland hosts their annual First Light celebration.  You will experience Midland’s famous heritage site amidst the magical glow of over 2,000 candles. Enjoy children’s Christmas crafts, seasonal music, artisans and more.

Many of the lighting festivals and ceremonies are tied into Christmas gift giving, shopping, Christmas craft events,  & Santa Claus Parades.
